Because going green is such an important issue, we at Omega Labeling Solutions want to assure our customers that we are doing our part.  No one person or company can solve the problems with our environment, but everyone doing their share can make a difference.

 

The most obvious and ultimately simplest effort comes in daily recycling.  From ink cartridges to packing material, from our cans and bottles used onsite to going as paperless as possible—we’re doing our part.  As a company we are implementing recycled label material to use when dissolvable labels are unavailable or inappropriate for the application.

 

Using water-based inks for flexographic items or screen, offset, and digital inks considered to be free of volatile organic compounds (VOC) is another way to help. We pack our products with corn starch peanuts. “If it’s not in use, turn it off” is an often-heard statement throughout our company.  And for those things which cannot be turned off and on easily, it is vital to batch our work so that we use that particular item most effectively and efficiently.
